Bring a current, valid government-issued photo ID. The name on your ID should reasonably match the name on your document.
Should I sign my document before the appointment?
Please wait to sign unless your notary instructs you otherwise. Some documents must be signed in the notary’s presence.
Do you offer mobile appointments?
Yes. Mobile appointments are available in Weatherford and surrounding DFW communities, subject to scheduling availability.
Do you offer remote online notarization?
Yes, for eligible documents and signers. Contact us to confirm eligibility and technology requirements before booking.
Can you give legal advice or prepare documents?
No. Fine Point Notary Services is not a law firm and cannot provide legal advice, choose a notarial certificate for you, or prepare legal documents.
Notarial and service fees are separate from travel. Mobile travel is $35 up to 10 miles, $50 over 10–20 miles, and $65 over 20–30 miles; over 30 miles receives a written quote. Distance is one-way driving mileage from our Weatherford business base. One travel fee applies per appointment. Additional acts, printing, witnesses, extended attendance, and after-hours or holiday arrangements are itemized in your quote before you agree. See Services for current prices.
How much does an appointment cost?
Do I need to provide witnesses?
If your document requires witnesses, please let us know before the appointment. Clients are generally responsible for providing qualified witnesses unless witness coordination is arranged in advance. Witnesses need acceptable identification and should not have a direct interest in the document.
You will need a computer, smartphone, or tablet with a camera and microphone, reliable internet access, an acceptable government-issued photo ID, access to email, and an electronic version of your document. Please confirm that the receiving organization will accept remote online notarization.

What happens after I book?
Fine Point Notary Services will confirm your appointment, review the basic document and location details, provide preparation instructions, and confirm the final price.
